TOP 100 ENGELSE HITPARADE 1964-1967
In het kader van The boat that rocked op Radio Mi Amigo.
Gebaseerd op officiële Engelse wekelijkse Top 50, volgens puntensysteem (nr 1 50 pnt etc.)
Aan de top veel zoetgevooisde mannelijke stemmen zoals Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, Jim Reeves, Ken Dodd, Val Doonican en Roy Orbison die de lijst niet uit te slaan waren. Een verschijnsel dat we in Nederland ook kenden met rampzalige liedjes van Heikrekels en Heintje e.d. Ook Bachelors en Seekers waren populair.
Beatles (hoogste nr 46) en Rolling Stones en andere British Invasion-toppers staan niet in de top, omdat die vaak snel op nr 1 kwamen, een paar weken veel verkochten en vaak na 10-15 weken weer uit de lijst waren.
Vooral naar onderen wordt de lijst beter!
