Nieuw in de Top 2000 van 2007
180 nieuwe nummers. Veel recente nummers, maar ook enkele klassiekers eindelijk in de lijst zoals Radiohead, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, Guns 'n Roses, Pearl Jam, Bad van U2 etc., en andere nummers die vorig jaar hoog stonden in de Missing Top 500! Hierdoor zijn weer mondjesmaat enkele vergeten klassiekers toegelaten, een wat vreemd beleid van de Radio 2 - samenstellers.
Vreemd is het dat Radio 2 nu veel nummers van 2007 toelaat en het lijkt een willekeurige keuze. Juist Snow Patrol staat er (nog) niet in, terwijl deze in andere lijsten hoog scoort.
Minder is dat er nog meer dialect (waarom anderen wel geweerd en deze niet?), Katie Melua en piratenmuziek de lijst vervuilt, het ontbreekt er nog maar aan dat Gerard Joling er in staat.
Enkele heel vreemde eenden in de bijt, zoals Eva de Roovere en Papa can you here me.
